As a Mom of two boys and a Mental Health Therapist, and I understand the stress of motherhood.
I enjoy being a Happy Mama who doesn't yell at her kids.
But I wasn't always a calm and happy Mom.
A few years ago I was in a Mom Funk and frustrated at everyone and everything.
I was on edge all the time. It didn't take much to set me off into a yelling rage.
I'll never forget the morning when my three year old accidently spilled my coffee on my computer, and I blew up. I ranted, I raved, I threw verbal bullets at my preschooler.
Seeing his tears and look of fear on his face, I knew it was time for me to make a change. I had to get my emotions in check.
So, I challenged myself and my readers to stop yelling. I opened up a Facebook group for us to take the challenge together. That group now has tens of thousands of Mothers who are trying to stop the yelling.
